Our partners at Care Ring in Charlotte recently interviewed Angela Earhart, a diabetic woman who spoke of her experiences with unemployment during the Great Recession and what it was like to go without health insurance for nearly 4 years. Under the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid will be expanded to provide affordable health coverage to our nation’s most vulnerable citizens.
